Staying at Der Heidkrug was a delightful escape! We were warmly welcomed by our hostess even though we arrived late, which instantly made us feel at home. The breakfast was a real treat, showing special care for our kids with delicious homemade cakes and hot coffee that we savored in the cozy in-house Waldcafé. Our room was not just clean and neatly arranged, but also had a private entrance, making it feel quite exclusive. The value for money here is incredible, and if you're looking for a charming spot to unwind while enjoying an array of activities nearby, this is it! I could see my Maldivian friends enjoying this place just as much as I did—perfect for family getaways in a peaceful setting!
